FEATURES OF SUPPLIED PRODUCTS

Coil:Rolled sections with an inside diameter of 508 mm (with or without a cardboard core), protected by waterproof paper, are placed on wooden pallets to ease movements throughout the handling process.

Plates and Strip: Plates and strip are cut into perfectly flat sheets and strapped to wooden pallets, protected by waterproof paper in the bottom and waterproof cardboard on top.

Available Thickness: 0.60 - 0.65 - 0.70 - 0.80 - 1.00 mm
items with different thickness sizes may be manufactured upon request.

Available Widths: between 100 mm and 1000 mm
items with smaller or larger widths may be manufactured upon request up to a maximum width of 1150 mm.

Available Lengths: Plates come in standard sizes of 1000 X 2000/3000 mm 
Different size plates must be agreed upon and confirmed time and again. 

Weight: Coil: weight varies according to width. The maximum weight is just about 7000 kg for the mother coils.
Plates: in pallets of 500 - 1.000 - 1.500 - 2.000 kg 

Tolerances: Thickness: maximum yield from nominal thickness ordered will not exceed ± 0.03.
The recommended thickness values are: 0.60 mm, 0.65mm, 0.70 mm, 0.80 mm, 1.00 mm.

Width: maximum yield from nominal width ordered will not exceed 0/+2 mm.
Minimum nominal width is 100 mm; maximum nominal width is 1000 mm.
Length: maximum yield from nominal length of sheet or strip ordered will not exceed 0/+10 mm. 
The recommended length values are 2000 and 3000 mm.

Rectilinear yield:rectilinear yield will not exceed 1.5 mm/m.

Plane yield: plane yield will not exceed 2.0 mm.

 

SHIPPING AND STORAGE

To avoid the surface formation of Zinc hydroxide, rolled sections will be shipped on covered means of transport and stored in a dry and ventilated area. Proper packing material will be used to prevent atmospheric moisture and condensation.

 

DOCUMENTATION

Upon ordering, it is the prerogative of buyers to request documentation of compliance to EN 10204, on lot ordered or on quality control data and procedures. 

 

DENOMINATION

The denomination system includes product identification (i.e. Zn Ti Cu), European Normative number (i.e. EN 988), the nominal thickness requested (i.e. 0.70 mm), the nominal width expressed in millimeters or the nominal length expressed in millimeters (plates).

 

LABELLING 

If not otherwise specified labelling will show:
- Product identification
- number of European norm (i.e. EN 988)
- number of casting and/or roll section
- name or manufacturer's brand
